Meet Taylor
Photographer & Editor
Hello!
My name is Taylor Savory, and I am a professional photographer and editor. I started my career as a VIP corporate disc jockey, creating incredible moments at special events like weddings, holiday parties, fundraisers, boat cruise events and other VIP parties. I always had a passion for the arts and photography, but I found myself increasingly interested in chatting up the wedding and event photographers and learning whatever I could.
I graduated with Honours from the Hospitality Management program at Algonquin College in 2009. What started as a fun choice of study, ended up as a lifelong journey into careers that focused on providing exceptional client service, learning advanced editing techniques and developing specialized technological skills. I also completed two years at Carleton University (BA Major in Psychology), as I once considered becoming a psychotherapist as a result of my desire to help others as much as possible.
Most recently, I worked for the public service, enhancing my English and French communication skills. I learned data governance, HR management and various software.
I have always had a natural eye for framing and a strong ability to envision exactly what a photo needs to have and how to get there.
